Parish Rosary Procession

The month of October is a special month dedicated to our Blessed Mother. 

Please join us on Saturday October 12th at Wilde lake at 3.00pm for Parish Rosary procession, followed by mass and anointing of the sick as we pray together for healing of the sick and for peace and harmony in our beloved nation and around the globe.

This mass will be an additional special weekend mass and will satisfy the weekend’s Sunday obligation.

 

 

 

 

 

Join us on October 19, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Wilde Lake Interfaith Center.

Presentation and Book Signing on October 19th featuring University of Maryland neurologist Lisa Shulman, MD, author of the book Before and After Loss: A Neurologist’s Perspective on Loss, Grief and our Brain.

Dr. Shulman will discuss the latest research on the neurology of grief along with her personal story of her experiences after the death of her husband. Her book will be available for purchase and signing following her talk.

This free program is sponsored by St. John’s Grief and Mourning Ministry. Coffee and pastry will be provided.

Saturday, October 26, 9:00am-12:30pm, our parish will hold a Mental Health Summit, entitled: The Role of the Church in Supporting Those Affected by Mental Health Issues. Keynote addressed by Steve Gray, Board President and Faith Outreach Committee, National Alliance on Mental Illness, Howard County.
